Dementia Friendly Lincoln Park presents: Dementia Friends Training – LIVE! Presentation, curriculum, and plenty of Q&A, presented by Gia Schultz, MHA, CDP.
Become a Dementia Friend with this in-person training. Presented by The Village Chicago’s Director of Health and Wellbeing, Dementia Champion, and Dementia Certified Practitioner, Gia Schultz, this interactive program will help you learn about the worldwide Dementia Friends movement, what it means to live with dementia, and simple things you can do to provide support. Dementia Friends are asked to turn their new understanding of dementia into a practical action that can help someone living in our community. The action can be as big or as small as you choose—every action counts!
