|Recurring Event (See all)

Sometimes words just aren’t enough to express what’s inside. This series lets your mind wander and relax, escape the day-to-day, and get lost in the creative process. Absolutely no artistic skills required!

Every other week, certified healing art facilitator, Lisa Swaiman, will lead our group through fun and interesting art and reflection exercises. While listening to music from the soundtrack of our youth, we will play with paint, markers, crayons, sketch pads — all in a judgement-free environment. Accommodations will be made for participants who have memory loss or other cognitive impairment.

She’s married and has a simply wonderful daughter, Sarah Grossman, who is currently interning with The Village Chicago.
