Life 3.0 presents Go Boldly Forth: Lightning Talks about “UnRetirement” Adventures
Thursday, October 20, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Members—$10 & guests—$20
Join us for a cocktail reception and the second in a series of events featuring speakers who will share their “unretirement” stories and self-discoveries. Speakers include Laurie Redman (former air traffic controller for 28 years who became an Uber driver shortly after retiring), and Village members Jim Kemmerer (who now uses his skills as a marketing executive to market himself as an actor), Barbara Koren (who has reduced her consulting practice to spend more time on a new passion: chairing the board of a not-for-profit preschool for children in the underserved neighborhood of Austin), and Judy Spriggs (who has taken her skills as a long-time education administrator to start her own business providing personal assistance services for seniors). Come learn and be inspired from these individuals who have started new ventures in the third stage of their lives.
