Men’s Discussion Group – Iran Travelogue

Village member Larry Damron spent 16 days on a tour of Iran sponsored by the The New York Times, along with his wife Char Damron. Larry will give a report of their trip for this month’s Men’s Discussion Group, including an intro to Tehran, history lesson on Cyrus the Great to the current regime, an overview of three major sites, and more. As no Iranian restaurants are nearby, a self-hosted lunch will follow in the museum café.
The Men’s Discussion Group meets every second Wednesday of each month, featuring different topics and guest speakers. It is open to men who are Village members and their male guests.

- For virtual programs, links will be sent to registered attendees via email the day before the event.
- For in-person programs, The Village Chicago aims to match participating members by request to Village events when other members who are attending the event are able to provide transportation. When registering, please let the Village office know if you are able to drive or would like a ride to an event.
