This welcoming, inclusive, and intergenerational book discussion group is open to everyone!
Please join us to discuss The Great
Believers by Chicago author Rebecca Makkai. Spanning three decades and two continents, it is the story of a group of friends and their emotional journey through the 1980’s AIDS crisis in Chicago and its effects on the contemporary lives of survivors. This engrossing novel was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award, a New York Times top 10 books of 2018, and considered the best book of 2018 by many reputable sources.
