SAGE Intergenerational Virtual Dinner Presented by the Village LGBTA Committee

Monday, October 11 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Members & guests–free (dinner self-hosted). RSVP, please scroll down. The day before the virtual dinner, a confirmation email will be sent to registered attendees with additional details to join via Zoom.

Build intergenerational connections by sharing a meal while connecting virtually with dinner guests of all ages. SAGE dinners tackle the problem of loneliness that affects so many in the LGBT community—especially older individuals. Allies and individuals from all generations are welcome.

Featuring Special Guests, SAIC Faculty
Nic Westrate, Karen Morris, and Adam Greteman, are the SAIC faculty facilitators of the LGBTQ+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project. They will be joining the virtual SAGE dinner to lead a panel discussion while attendees enjoy their self-hosted meal.

About SAGE and LGBT+ History Month
October is National LGBT+ History Month. It is set in October because of National Coming Out Day (October 11) which commemorates the first two national marches on Washington for LGBT rights in 1979 and 1987.

SAGE (Services and Advocacy for LGBT Elders) is a national organization which seeks to address the ageism and heterosexism encountered by older LGBT people in accessing housing and other services.
