Saturday, November 6 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Members & guests–$4.99 on Amazon Prime and other streaming services. To RSVP, please scroll down. The day before the discussion, a confirmation email will be sent to registered attendees with details to join via Zoom.

Every Saturday afternoon, join fellow film aficionados of the Village for an in depth discussion of films new and old. Watch the selected film any time before the discussions–or enjoy the discussion and be persuaded to view it after!

This week’s film
Living alone in the Oregon wilderness, a truffle hunter returns to Portland to find the person who stole his beloved pig. Like the animal itself, Pig defies the hogwash of expectations with a beautiful odyssey of loss and love anchored by Nicolas Cage’s affectingly raw performance. Village member Mel Washburn will lead a discussion of the film this Saturday at 3 PM.

Please note: because this is an ongoing weekly event, the Zoom link is the same every week.
