A domineering but charismatic rancher wages a war of intimidation on his brother’s new wife and her teen son — until long-hidden secrets come to light. Written and directed by Academy Award® winning filmmaker Jane Campion, The Power of the Dog is “mesmerizing,” “astonishing,” “a masterpiece.” Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. In select theaters November and on Netflix December 1. Village member Mel Washburn will lead a discussion of the film this Saturday at 3 PM.
