This week’s film
Jenna is a pregnant, unhappily married waitress in the deep south. She meets a newcomer to her town and falls into an unlikely relationship as a last attempt at happiness. Sweet, smart, and quirky, Waitress hits the right, bittersweet notes through this romantic comedy with its witty script and a superb performance by Keri Russell. Village member Mel Washburn will lead a discussion of the film this Saturday at 3 PM.
Please note: because this is an ongoing weekly event, the Zoom link is the same every week.
