Every Saturday afternoon, join fellow film aficionados of the Village for an in-depth discussion of films new and old, led by Village member Mel Washburn. Watch the selected film any time–or enjoy the discussion and be persuaded to view it after!
This week’s film is Tár (2022). Set in the international world of Western classical music, the film centers on Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors and the very first female director of a major German orchestra.
If you choose to watch the film before the discussion, it is available on Amazon Prime (rent from $3.99), Peacock (free with subscription), Apple TV (from $5.99) or Vudu (rent from $5.99).
