Join the Bridging Generations Professional Board for more short story discussions! In November, the short story discussion group will be exploring the literary work of James McBride, an award-winning author, musician, and screenwriter. His wonderful debut collection, Five-Carat Soul, covers so much ground. Some stories are straightforward; some are gleefully surreal. And every one of them is brash, daring, and definitely original. All are welcome to join one or all of these lively intergenerational discussions, hosted by the Bridging Generations Professionals Board. Zoom links are sent out the day before each discussion.. (Note: while the this group meets weekly, members and guests may choose to attend some or all discussions).
Here are the stories to be discussed in November:
November 12 – “Ray-Ray’s Picture Box” (click here to read)
November 19 – “Blub” (click here to read)
November 26 – Break for Thanksgiving
December 3 – “Father Abe” (click here to read)
- Reservations required for all events.
- For virtual programs, links will be sent to registered attendees via email the day before the event.
