Join the Bridging Generations Professional Board for more short story discussions! In December, the group will be exploring the literary work of Nalo Hopkinson, a Jamaican-born Canadian speculative fiction writer and editor. Her novels and short stories often draw on Caribbean history and language, and its traditions of oral and written storytelling. All are welcome to join one or all of these lively intergenerational discussions, hosted by the Bridging Generations Professionals Board. Zoom links are sent out the day before each discussion. (Note: while the this group meets weekly, members and guests may choose to attend some or all discussions).
Here are the stories to be discussed in December:
Thursday, December 10, 5 PM “The Glass Bottle Trick”
Thursday, December 17, 5 PM “Left Foot, Right”
Thursday, December 24, 4pm (NOTE: one hour earlier than usual) “The Easthound”
Thursday, December 31, 4pm (NOTE: one hour earlier usual) “The Ally”
- Reservations required for all events.
- For virtual programs, links will be sent to registered attendees via email the day before the event.
