Reardon of the deep issues the story of Silence raises about humanity, faith, commitment, generosity, and love. Reardon is the author of Faith Stripped to Its Essence: A Discordant Pilgrimage through Shusaku Endo’s ‘Silence’, a guide for those of all faiths trying to delve into the movie and the book.
