Have you ever been curious about how technology could work for you as a care partner, or as someone living with memory loss? Join us to learn about the latest technologies in dementia care. Adiona is a partner of the Memory Center of the University of Chicago, and their mission is to help care partners better help those they care for. Josh Kim is one of the developers of Adiona and he saw first hand with his grandparents how difficult living with dementia and caring for someone with dementia can be. Inspired by his own family, Josh has helped to create an all in one device that can hopefully help to ease some of the daily stresses associated with cognitive loss. They’ve worked very closely with dementia experts and other caregivers to design a device that provides safety and dignity to someone with dementia and peace of mind to their caregivers. Join Josh for a discussion about this new technology and how you or your loved one could try it out and provide feedback on it to help make that technology best suited for you.
