Virtual Banjo Night!
Saturday, January 15 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pmFree
Members & guests–free. To RSVP, please scroll down. The day before the event, a confirmation email with Zoom details will be sent to registered attendees.
Enjoy live music from home — and skip the winter weather! Join us for a special Zoom performance by members of The Windy City Jammers, a group who have been actively performing throughout Chicago for several decades. For the past six years they have played Mondays at Chief O’Neill’s Irish Pub on Elston Avenue (on hiatus from live performances until March).
The Jammers specialize in Tin Pan Alley tunes, music that is still popular and being recorded today. The band features as many as 11 instruments: banjo, harmonica, guitar, trumpet, trombone, tuba, clarinet, violin, mandolin accordion and ukulele. For this special virtual performance, individual members of the Jammers will perform their choice of songs.
