Navigating the New Longevity Symposium | How Will Virtual Reality Change Your Future?
Wednesday, November 7, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Members—$10 guests—$15 & students—free. To register, please click here or call the Village office at 773.248.8700.
The Village Chicago invites you to a lively discussion of how immersion technology is changing the way we live, learn and care. We have assembled a panel of trailblazers who are harnessing virtual and augmented reality to improve your quality of life and health. Imagine being guided through a large, unfamiliar airport with no anxiety; or through a smoke-filled building to safety; consider the impact on your loved one’s caregiver after virtually experiencing Alzheimer’s. Join us for a conversation exploring how immersion technology is transforming our well-being at all ages and stages of life – and be inspired to suggest new ways it can be put to use. Panelists include Neelum T. Aggarwal, M.D.; Carrie Shaw, CEO, Embodied Labs; Ming Tang, RA University of Cincinnati; and Emily Phelps, medical student of Rush University Medical Center.
- Reservations required for all events.
- For virtual programs, links will be sent to registered attendees via email the day before the event.
