Nourishing Hope, formerly known as Lakeview Pantry, is a dynamic social services organization providing food, mental wellness counseling and other social services to our Chicago neighbors in need.  Village members will work as a team at their “Hub” assisting with preparation for Home Delivery and their Pop-Up Pantry, sorting and creating food packages. As volunteers, we will fulfill a vital service for our Chicago neighbors.  In 2020, data indicated that 19% of all Chicago residents are undernourished; that’s almost 800,000 people and 1 out of 4 children.  Please join us as we work together to help eliminate hunger in our community.

Client “shopping” takes place in a different location. While heavy lifting is not required, volunteers will be standing while working and taking breaks to sit as needed.

Note: Space is limited to 15 volunteers. RSVP today!
