​Women have made great strides in the fight for equality, but gender bias continues to create huge barriers for many​.​​ Join Khadine Bennet, Associate Legislative Director with the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois, ​in a discussion on​ current legislation effecting women’s rights and​ ​how the ​ACLU has been working​ to systematically end sex discrimination and ensure that all women and girls are able to lead lives of dignity.

Parking:
Public parking is conveniently located one block north of the Museum at Clark and LaSalle Streets; enter on Stockton Drive. The cost is $9 with Museum validation.
Public Transportation:
The Museum is easy to reach via public transportation. CTA buses 22, 36, 72, 73, 151, and 156 stop nearby. The Brown Line Sedgwick station and Red Line Clark/Division station are also located approximately one half-mile from the Museum.
  • Reservations required for all events.
  • For virtual programs, links will be sent to registered attendees via email the day before the event.
  • For in-person programs, The Village Chicago aims to match participating members by request to Village events when other members who are attending the event are able to provide transportation.  When registering, please let the Village office know if you are able to drive or would like a ride to an event.
