Women’s and Men’s Discussion Group: The Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) and The Many Services It Provides in Cook County

All Village members and guests—both men and women—are invited to this special presentation. There is a great need for food support in Cook County: 1 in 6 people in Cook County use the services of GCFD (over 812,000 people in 232,000 households) to avoid going hungry. Learn about the wide variety of services the GCFD provides to meet these needs. You’ll also learn how one can obtain these services and how you can participate in GCFD volunteer opportunities.

- For in-person programs, The Village Chicago aims to match participating members by request to Village events when other members who are attending the event are able to provide transportation. When registering, please let the Village office know if you are able to drive or would like a ride to an event.
