Women’s Discussion Group – Bad Day? Let’s Ted Talk!

Tuesday, April 9, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Members & guests—free. To register, please scroll down or call the Village office at 773.248.8700.

Do you have a bad day now and then, look around and wonder, “Why?”  Ask yourself, “What is there to be cheerful about today?” Our Tuesday Ted Talk will help us discover how to find the bits of joy in life that are right where we are at any moment. Join in unleashing the awe and finding the joy, as we view and then discuss this riveting Ted Talk, presented by Village member Carol Hitchie. Following the program and discussion, members are welcome to attend a self-hosted lunch at the North & Clark Café, located inside of the Chicago History Museum.

This program will be the start of a new focus for the Women’s Discussion Group: to provide the opportunity for women in the Village to connect, get to know each other, and build lasting relationships. Whether you have attended before, or will be joining for the first time, the fun begins in April and will continue in the months after!
