Join the Bridging Generations Professional Board for a virtual bi-weekly series of short story discussions. What better way to spend our social distancing than discussing an acclaimed short story together. Every other Thursday throughout July and August, we will share our opinions and views from different generational perspectives about the week’s short story. Register to receive links to read each short story, along with a link to join the weekly Zoom discussion. Here are the stories for this series:

Thursday, July 2
“Bears Discover Fire” by Terry Bisson

Thursday, July 16
“The City Born Great” by N.K. Jemisin

Thursday, July 30
“Exhalation” by Ted Chiang

Thursday, August 13
“Batrachophiles and Batrachophobes” by Miguel de Unamuno

Thursday, August 27
“The Library of Bable by Jorge” Luis Borges

This discussion group will meet bi-weekly throughout July and August. Members are welcome to attend one (or all) of the discussions.
