Hamnet: 2025, 122min, streamable on Amazon & others for $10-20
The Oscars are Sun, 3/15/26, and Jesse Buckley (Lost Daughter, Wild Rose) is the favorite to win best actress. Hamnet is also nominated for 7 other Oscars, including best picture, director (Chloe Zhao, Nomadland), and screenplay. As Rotten Tomatoes describes, it tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece, Hamlet.
