A warm-hearted, fun biopic of the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightening & Thunder. Meet Mike and Claire Sardina (Hugh Jackman & Kate Hudson), two Milwaukeeans who enjoy state fairs, singing, and each other. A very enjoyable love story with great music. And it’s true. There’s also a 2008 documentary by the same name. Maybe you remember Lightening & Thunder. Kate Hudson was nominated for best actress for her role. Both Hudson and Jackman did their own singing.
