Docent-led Tour of the Elks National Memorial and Headquarters
Join Village member Madeline Muecke, a Village member for over XX years, for a docent-led tour of the Elks National Memorial and Headquarters at 2750 N. Lakeview Ave.
Built in 1926 to honor Elks members who served in World War I, this landmark is filled with stunning architecture, inspiring artwork, and stories that span generations.
The highlight? A 100-year-old time capsule, opened for the first time this July. Now on display are its contents, including a letter from President Calvin Coolidge and other fascinating artifacts that have been tucked away for a century.
The tour lasts about one hour and is limited to 20 participants, so please register early to reserve your spot. Limited visitor parking and an elevator are available.
Come experience one of Lincoln Park’s best-kept secrets.
