Our docent-let tour of the Pullman National Historical Park is the story of the Pullman Palace Car Company town, built for its
workers, and its connection to the American labor movement. Join Village Board Chair David Baker as we experience this
model of urban planning and learn about the great Pullman Strike of 1894 as well as the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, the
first African American labor organization to receive a charter in the American Federation of Labor.
