Come join the conversation! This discussion group is now in its thirteenth year, but new members are encouraged to join! Starting in December, the Group will be reading a new Anthology! “Immigrant Voices” available from the Great Books Foundation. This anthology includes short stories from major 21st Century U.S. immigrant populations relate experiences, challenges, and aspirations of contemporary immigrants.
This December, the group will be reading:
- “Letting Go To America” by M. Evelina Galang
- “Absence” by Daniel Alarcon and
- “Mother the Big” by Porochista Khakpour
