Hanging with Mother Nature, visit the Plum Creek Nature Center

Plum Creek Nature Center is located about an hour’s drive south east from Chicago in Will County at 27064 S. Dutton Road, Beecher, IL 60401.
We’ll leave at 9:30 a.m. and be back about 2 p.m. (after and before rush hour traffic.) on Thursday, September 10th.
See paintings of birds from all the states by Village Member Marcia Whitney. The art exhibit is unique because it matches the paintings with bird nests and feathers, as well as trivia about state symbols. We’ll ramble through the woods and have a picnic lunch on the Center’s shaded patio.
To register, email Jessica at [email protected]. Let us know if you can give a ride, or need a ride by Tuesday, September 8. Bring your own lunch.
