Location: Via Zoom
Members & guests: free.
This group will meet bi-weekly. Please make sure to register each time to attend.
The purpose of this group is to give Village members the opportunity to discuss quality of life issues in an
informal, non-judgmental group setting. It will be led by Murray Manus, a Village member who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and who has a private, online therapy practice. The group will be held via Zoom. Anyone can attend any session but you must RSVP in advance as there is a limit of 8 people per group meeting.
Topics to be discussed will include such issues as: healthy relationships, life fulfillment, anger management, conflict resolution, getting one’s needs met, and the like. Hopefully, by attending, you can gain some insights about how to successfully address problem areas in your life and achieve more joy and life satisfaction.
Murray Manus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois and has been a social
worker for over 15 years with a concentration in mental health. He has worked in community
mental health for many years, where he led groups every week, and for the past 4 years has
had his own personal online therapy practice. In his therapy work he relies primarily upon the
principles of humanistic therapy and positive psychology, which focus upon a person’s
strengths and what is right with them rather than what is “wrong”. He helps people identify their own inner strengths and facilitates their ability to use those strengths to create the most
joyful, fulfilling and meaningful life possible.
