Following up from his acclaimed debut, Edgar Gomez’s sophomore effort is a collection of essays about the harsh reality of growing up in poverty and attempting to achieve the American Dream. Despite his hardships, Gomez writes with the humor and affection that continues to win praise for his work, garnering multiple ‘Best of the Year’ awards in 2025.
