Outrage: 2009, 89min, Documentary on Amazon Prime
Several politicians who have supported anti-gay legislation have led/lead closeted gay lives. This 2009 documentary looks at five or six of them, interviews men who have slept with them, and argues that promoting anti-LGBT legislation while living a closeted gay life is a hypocrisy. Included subjects are Larry Craig, Ed Koch, Charlie Crist, and others. Maybe you can think of some politicians not included. Is it fair to out them? Is it a hypocrisy that exists today? When you go to Amazon, type in “Outrage documentary”, it’s the film with an image of the capitol reflected in rainbow colors. Here’s a link that may work.
