Here’s a fun, fictionalized account of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, which started in 1943 with such teams as the Rockford Peaches, Racine Belles, Kenosha Comets. Maybe some of you went to a game. Penny Marshall (Big, Awakenings, Laverne & Shrley) assembled and directed an eclectic cast of characters, including her brother Gary, taking us from recruitment to tryouts, training, play and playoffs.
