Let’s join Sean Connery, Sam Neill, and recently deceased Tim Curry aboard the Red October, Russia’s newest undetectable submarine as it heads toward the U.S. contrary to orders. Is it launching a rogue attack or something else? It’s up to Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin) to find out. Based on the popular Tom Clancy novel, the film was nominated for several technical Oscars, winning for best sound. Directed by John McTiernan (Die Hard).
