Remembering Diane Keaton in one of her Oscar nominated performances
Aging womanizer Jack Nicholson becomes houseridden at the Hamptons beach home of girlfriend Amanda Peet’s mother Diane Keaton. As he recovers, romance blossoms between Keaton and Nicholson’s cardiologist Keanu Reeves and maybe between Keaton and Nicholson too. Who does she end up with? Written & directed by Nancy Meyers (The Holiday, It’s Complicated, The Intern, Father of the Bride, Irreconcilable Differences), a master of smart romantic comedies who gets truly enjoyable performances from amazing actors. Keaton got her fifth Oscar nomination for the film. The film might be free on one of the streaming sites, but that may come edited or have commercials.
