Join us for a fascinating journey into the heart of discovery at Fermilab, America’s premier particle physics laboratory and the world leader in accelerator-based neutrino research. Explore how scientists from around the globe are working together to unlock the deepest mysteries of matter, energy, space, and time.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there.  After our 2 hour tour and self-hosted lunch in the cafe, we can step outside and enjoy a walk through Fermilab’s stunning 6,800-acre restored prairie and see their iconic bison herd or visit Fermilab’s museum, Lederman Science Center, to further our understanding of Fermilab’s history and mission.  Come curious—leave inspired!

The registration is a 2-step process.  You must register with The Village so that we know who is going to Fermilab and so we can arrange car pools.  You must also register with Fermilab directly at  https://events.fnal.gov/tours/.  In the first section, “Public Tours,” click on “REGISTER for the 10/20 Tour.”  Each adult must register separately and will be required to show REAL-ID compliant document, a passport or enhanced driver’s license, to enter Fermilab.

Registration for the 10/20 tour will become available on Tuesday, July 22nd or Wednesday, July 23rd on their website:https://events.fnal.gov/tours/You must register with Fermilab as soon as possible after registration is available for this tour since the tour is not limited to Village members and will fill up quickly.  Fermilab only conducts one public tour per month.
