May is the most exciting time of the year for bird watching at Montrose point!! Join David Baker, Village Chicago member, for two hours of birding the spring migration, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026. We will be able to see many species of migrating birds on their way to breeding grounds in Northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Canada. The warblers are particularly exciting and present at this time of year, sporting beautiful breeding colors and flitting madly through the trees. Dress in layers and wear good walking shoes. Binoculars are recommended.
