Come join the conversation! This discussion group is now in its thirteenth year, but new members are encouraged to join! Starting in June, the Group will be reading a new Anthology!
All readings are from the anthology: “The Civically Engaged Reader” published by the Great Books Foundation and can be ordered online from the Foundation store.
Reading Selections:
- “Theme for English B” by Langston Hughes
- “Recitation” by Toni Morrison
- “Mending Wall” by Robert Frost
As these are the final readings of the “Associating” section, we will also summarize our thoughts and impressions on the subject.
