Reading the Rainbow is a bi-monthly book discussion group featuring a lively conversation of LGBTQ+ texts. People of all identities, including allies, are welcome!
This month’s selection is Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar. An award winning debut novel, Martyr! follows Cyrus Shams, a young Iranian American poet whose obsession with martyrs leads him to unravel a family secret and find meaning amidst a history of violence and loss.
