Our next event of the Village Chicago Cultural Series is the DePaul Opera presentation of two Puccini one act operas: Sour Angelica and Gianni Schicchi. These are two of the three operas normally performed together per Puccini’s concept. The operas are sung in English by DePaul University’s outstanding voice students, the latest in a line of budding opera singers dating back to the early 1990s. The performance will take place in the newly renovated Sasha and Eugene Jarvis Opera Hall at Belden and Halsted on DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus.

Stefanie Clark of the Life 3.0 committee will be your hostess. Please join us for lunch at The Bad Apple before the concert.

There are currently six tickets available for this event with the possibility of obtaining more. Please register early for this event so we can assess the need for additional tickets.
