Join us for an informative seminar about The MIND Diet and building resilience against aging memory loss. We’ll hear from two experts in their fields on how we can maintain and improve brain health, starting with dietitian Kristin Gustashaw, who will discuss the MIND Diet, developed by nutritional epidemiologists at Rush University Medical Center, which has been shown to lower the risk of Alzheimer’s disease by up to 53 percent. Gerontologist Beverly Sanborn will discuss how maintaining purpose in life can help maintain cognitive function, and how Belmont Village’s horticulture program does just that for its residents.
A MIND-Diet lunch will be served.
