Do you live alone or worry about what might happen if you fall while you’re alone? Do you have trouble getting up and down from the floor or have you stopped doing it due to a physical issue or being scared that you won’t be able to get back up? Come learn about how to make yourself more safe. You’ll discover multiple options for getting up and down from the floor safely.
Feel free to participate in the exercises or to just watch and learn. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily and supportive shoes that are well secured onto your feet.

About our instructor: Jill Stein (pictured, right) is an AFAA certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer with over 20 years’ experience working with older adults, and is also a certified level 2 sound healer. She ran the Fitness and Wellness Class Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for 15 years and has been teaching classes and workshops for The Village for more than 3 years. She provides individualized support in her classes, workshops and meditations.
