Laura Cassidy works for RECOMPOSE, the Seattle-based organization where sustainable after death practices originated. Now legal in seven states, with legislation pending in Illinois (HB3158), human composting offers a way to nourish the land with remains without requiring long term space use as does a grave. Laura will describe how human composting works and why it is such a benefit for the earth and humanity.
This hour-long presentation will include visuals, a short video from King 5 News, and time for Q and A.
