We return to our neighborhood’s famous Chicago deli, The Bagel. Its late owner, a Holocaust survivor, died in 2022 and the famous deli’s owndership recently passed on to the oversight of his good friend Marvin Barsky who never changed a thing – from the black and white checked floors, red walls, roomy booths, and of course, its full menu of deli recipes. Come with us and enjoy long held recipes like Matza Ball Soup, gefilte fish, Beef Borscht as well as juicy hamburgers, ribs, soups and Lox and Bagels, and breakfast egg dishes.

Free parking in rear, paid on street, easy access by Broadway Bus (#36).
