Exercise at Home with Jill Stein

This intro class will have 3 twenty minute segments of different formats. We will start in a chair with Strength for Stability, then Gentle Yoga, and end with Pilates Mat. We will work on functional/full body strength, joint mobility, balance, breath and pairing with movement, and core strength. For the class, have a stable chair (like a dining table chair), a yoga/exercise mat or towel, and two light hand weights, two water bottles or two cans to use for resistance exercises. Wear athletic shoes that secure onto your feet and have water to drink. Dress in clothes you can move in comfortably and dress in layers in case you get too warm and need to remove a layer. Instructor Jill Stein is a veteran group exercise instructor and personal trainer with over 20 years of experience and over 15 years experience working with older adults.
Tips for online classes: Use a tablet, laptop or smart TV so you have a screen larger than a phone. Sign in to Zoom prior to the class starting so you can see how your screen looks, including how your lighting appears. Find a good location for your screen. Make sure you can see your full body or that most of your body appears clearly on screen. Ensure that you have enough space to move around freely.
