Favorite Films of the ’30’s and ’40’s – A Letter to Three Wives (1949)

If Ninotchka or Captain Blood or Random Harvest are among your favorite films, you’ll be right at home! In addition to discussing the films, we will also talk about the scores and the wonderful composers of the era.
This month the group will be watching A Letter to Three Wives (1949). In this film, Deborah Bishop, Lora Mae Hollingsway and Rita Phipps are three friends who all receive letters from another friend, Addie Ross, telling them that she is about to leave town with one of their husbands. Deborah, Lora Mae and Rita have to find out which of their spouses, Brad, Porter and George respectively, have been unfaithful. Available to rent for $3.99 on Apple TV, YouTube and Vudu.
