Please join us for our first session of a new program: Health Hub. This program intends to draw likeminded, science-focused individuals who are interested in wellbeing and related lifestyle behaviors. The topic will change each session, and we are open to suggestions for future chats! During this session, we will discuss how physical exercise can benefit our brain and body health- a main prevention strategy of a common disease called Sarcopenia. We will review a few research articles, discuss any articles attendees have encountered on the subject, and talk about ways we can enhance our daily routines to be well in the long term. The topic will change each session, and we are open to suggestions for future chats! Hope to see you there.
About our presenter:
Brooke Nanni, MPH, is the Brain Health & Memory Loss Program Manager at the Village Chicago. Brooke obtained undergraduate degrees in psychology and speech pathology, then in 2016 earned a graduate degree in public health. She started her career in the intellectual disabilities field, and began working with older adults within a senior living community, and from there went into legal guardianship/program management.
