Plasticity in Action

Tuesday, May 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Members & guests- free! RSVP below.

Movement Revolution has partnered with The Village Chicago to discuss the concept of brain plasticity. Tune into this virtual session to learn more about our brain’s ability to rewire and strengthen connections regardless of our age- as well as ways lifestyle behaviors can support this process. Part of this event will include strategies on incorporating exercise into our daily routines, one of the small changes we can make to trigger the plasticity process and work to maintain our cognition, even for people with existing neurological conditions.

About the presenters:

Brooke Nanni oversees the brain health and memory loss programs at The Village Chicago. She is a social service and public health professional who has obtained undergraduate degrees in psychology and speech pathology as well as a graduate degree in public health. She recently became a certified dementia practitioner (CDP) through the NCCDP.

Eric Johnson, CEO and founder of Movement Revolution. Eric founded Movement Revolution with the mission to foster hope and invigorate life through exercise, for people with neurological conditions.  Eric has a passion for coaching clients to reach their goals by maximizing their potential.  Exercise and wellness quickly became his passion and guided his career path to sharing his experiences as a coach to enhance the lives of others through neuro-intensive exercise.
