Reading the Rainbow is a bi-monthly book discussion group focused on LGBTQ+ literature. People of all ages and identities (including Allies) are welcome!
For Black History Month, the group will be reading the debut short story collection of Bryan Washington, a young African American writer. Lot weaves together intersecting stories set in Houston in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. This powerful collection was a top 10 books of 2018 from The New York Times among other acclaims.
Lot is available for purchase in paperback, e-book, and audiobook formats.
