Saturday, February 10 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Members & guests–free. Available to rent on Amazon Prime.

Location: via Zoom

Every Saturday afternoon, join fellow film aficionados of the Village for an in-depth discussion of films new and old, led by Village member Mel Washburn. Watch the selected film any time–or enjoy the discussion and be persuaded to view it after!

This week’s movie, Dina (2017) is an American documentary film about Dina Buno and her partner Scott Levin. From Rotten Tomatoes: Dina is an eccentric and outspoken woman who invites her fiance, Scott, to move in with her. The couple face many challenges as Dina copes with a mental disability, and Scott lives with Asperger’s syndrome. Dina won the Sundance Film Festival’s U.S. Documentary Grand Jury Prize in 2017. It also received the 2017 Karen Schmeer Award for Excellence in Documentary Editing from the Independent Film Festival Boston, the IDA Award for best feature documentary of the year in 2017, and a special jury prize for honesty and humanity from the 2017 Sarasota Film Festival.
