Join Rick Stuckey, Dick Sullivan, and other Village members in volunteering for the Greater Chicago Food Depository! The GCFD needs help repacking donated food so it can go out to food pantries and soup kitchens.

The work varies a great deal depending on what kind of food they are repacking. Most jobs require standing for the whole time. However, there are light duty jobs available that can be done sitting down and not lifting anything heavy. Vaccination is required, and social distancing will be enforced while working, though masks are optional. More details will be sent to those who register.
