The Village Chicago, Belmont Village Lincoln Park and One You Love Homecare are excited to invite you to our West Coast Swing Ballroom Dancing session!

About the presenter and program: I’m Alondra Carmenatty, and I’m thrilled to be here sharing my love for dance and healthcare with all of you. By day, I serve as the Director of Care and Operations for One You Love Homecare Agency, where I’m dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to those in need. My journey in healthcare began in hospitalist and clinical roles, but my passion extends far beyond the hospital walls.

In addition to my work in healthcare, I’m also a student pursuing a focus on global health advocacy in medicine. It’s a field that speaks to my heart, driving me to make a positive impact on a global scale. But before I immersed myself in the world of healthcare, dance was my first love.
I spent years teaching ballroom Latin and social dancing at a competitive level in Oceanside, California. Those experiences not only refined my skills as a dancer but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of movement and expression. Before my ballroom days, I was a dedicated ballerina, carrying my passion for dance into adulthood.

Now, I’m excited to share my expertise in West Coast Swing with all of you. Drawing from my diverse background in dance and healthcare, I aim to provide an enriching experience that goes beyond just mastering the steps. Join me on June 7th as we dance, learn, and explore the art of West Coast Swing together.
